Geometric abstraction and contrasting colors defined Sonia Delaunay's work and were our source of inspiration for this collection.
In this design we created two geometric shapes in dynamic movement. Bold in yellow, this bag certainly will make some heads turn. Not just with its vibrant color but also with the richness of the textile.
Elegant and distinctive, our new baguette bag features two unique textiles carefully hand-sewn by indigenous women of the Guna Dule community of Colombia. Carefully put together by hand in our workshop in Bogotá, it is a perfect companion for any occasion. It can be worn as a clutch or over the shoulder with the complimentary detachable crossbody leather strap.
The new baguette bag is slender yet fits all necessary essentials. We'll leave that to you!

ARTISAN TECHNIQUES
Kuna Textiles All textiles are hand sewn by the women of the Guna Dule indigenous community of the Caiman Alto reserve in Colombia. For generations, the women have passed down their idiosyncratic craft of hand sewing cut out layers of fabric to form rich intricate patterns and designs. Each fabric is the unique expression of the artisan woman who carefully crafted it. Guna Dule culture, beliefs and traditions are woven into each composition in depictions of daily scenes, nature or abstract motifs.
