Mango & Navy Chimichagua Totes

These beautiful totes are made by a cooperative of artisans in the Chimichagua region of Colombia. Originally, the artisans made mats to sleep on, but later the woven fibers were used for rugs or placemats. At Mola Sasa, we reimagined the material as totes and complemented them with the beautiful Gunadule textiles on the sides.

They come in two sizes: large and small. Perfect for the city or beach. The combination of two artisanal techniques is highlighted in these bags in a very special and beautiful way.

All of our textiles are delicately hand-sewn by a women artisan from the indigenous community of the Gunadule of Colombia.

Spot clean only with soft, damp cloth. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight to preserve colors. Do not machine wash or dry clean. Store in a cool, dry place. Handwoven textile: Cotton and acrylic blend. Lining and details: cotton.
