The labyrinth is a recurrent pattern for the Guna Dule and this is our reinterpretation inspired by Sonia Delaunay's color studies. Made by the artisan women and paired with a traditional labyrinth textile this piece comes full circle.

ARTISAN TECHNIQUES
Kuna Textiles All textiles are hand sewn by the women of the Guna Dule indigenous community of the Caiman Alto reserve in Colombia. For generations, the women have passed down their idiosyncratic craft of hand sewing cut out layers of fabric to form rich intricate patterns and designs. Each fabric is the unique expression of the artisan woman who carefully crafted it. Guna Dule culture, beliefs and traditions are woven into each composition in depictions of daily scenes, nature or abstract motifs.
