The large yet leightweight wooden hoops are individually hand-wrapped with Maguey (agave plant) fibers by the Kankuamo indigenous community while the body is made from Caña Flecha hand-woven threads by the Zenu artisans community and finished with a lustrous wooden and gold stud.
