Ruby & Clay Maguey Earrings

These beautiful statement earrings were woven in a natural fiber extracted from the aloe vera plant. The fiber was produced by the Kankuamo Indigenous community and paired with a caña flecha strap made by the Tuchín cooperative of artisans.

The combination of two artisanal techniques is highlighted in these earrings in a very special and beautiful way. The dyes used all come from plants.

Although large, these earrings are not heavy. They are finished off in wood and gold-plated brass that gives them a rather elegant but bohemian look.
